SDCC 2014: Zachary Quinto At Press Conference for "Hitman: Agent 47"

I did not have sufficient clout to gain entry into Twentieth Century Fox's press conference at Comic-Con. So, I did not manage to get first-hand experience of the one for "Hitman: Agent 47" which was attended by Zachary Quinto and Hannah Ware.

Thankfully, fellow local press person Jedd was there, and he kindly sent me a transcript and some photos of the short session.

There wasn't much about the movie that was revealed by Zach or Hannah that afternoon, but if you are curious what went down, the information is over at my other blog - Red Dot Diva.

Zachary Quinto (and His Biceps) Gets Birthday Wishes at Provincetown!

It's a rare occasion for fans to be able to celebrate their favourite actor's birthday together with him, but that's what a few ZQC members were able to do this past weekend at Provincetown.

Zachary Quinto's lovely biceps were guests-of-honor at the Provincetown Tennessee Williams Theater Festival last Saturday (31 May). At the dinner, their owner Zach, looked very relaxed in a camouflaged tee and those adorable geeky glasses (*swoon*). He was accompanied by current beau, Miles.

As you may already know, Tennessee Williams is the playright for "The Glass Menagerie", and the writer spent four summers in Provincetown working on his pieces. Recently, Zach acted as Tom in the critically acclaimed production by American Repertory Theatre, which ran for a length of time on Broadway. Tom was a character Zach felt a great deal of affinity to, and that is one of the reasons why he accepted the invitation for last weekend's dinner.

"Agent 47" Shoot in Singapore: Project Hunting Zachary Quinto's Biceps - Part 2

We have now entered into the last few days of the "Agent 47" shoot in Singapore.

Project Hunting ZQ Biceps continues with fervour from local die-hard fans, and I really hope they manage to meet Zach in person at a suitable time and location before he heads back home. Because if you catch him at a right time, Zach is such an absolutely lovely man!

Before the shoot began, I did try (with the help of ZQC moderator Lindsay Robinson) to request for a little bit of time with Zach through his official channel - just for a small group of local ZQC-ers. However, the word was that the schedule for the "Agent 47" shoot here is a very intense one and there is a high security label on it. So, strictly no site visits were allowed. Also, Zach will hardly have time for semi-official fan-related matters as he has to complete his work before returning to NYC for another commitment.

The "Agent 47" filming is expected to wrap up on May 14 - which happens to be the same day our beloved X-Men folks are arriving. I had been wondering if any of them might turn up for the premiere as both movies are Fox movies. And then, in a local paper called TODAY, we were given heads up about Team "Agent 47" walking the Blue Carpet.

Sooo, will Zach's biceps be there? I hope so!

Anyhow, if you missed the excitement about the filming which has been happening here, check out my earlier blog post!

"Agent 47" Shoot in Singapore: Project Hunting Zachary Quinto's Biceps - Part 1

After filming in Berlin for some time, the shoot for upcoming 20th Century Fox movie "Agent 47" moved to the little island of Singapore earlier this month.

Prior to Zachary Quinto's arrival here, he was taking a short break touring Vietnam and Cambodia. We know this because of his Instagram feed, and of course, who can forget this particular pic of nekkid biceps relaxing in a pool. ;)

If you have missed all the excitement or news about Zach Quinto in town, here's a recap of what our bb's biceps have been up to while he was here.

Casting Call For "Agent 47" Production in Singapore!

Calling Singapore acting talent and fans who aspire to be part of a film production, here's a chance for you to be on the big screen!

"Agent 47", a 20th Century Fox production will be filming in Singapore from 28th April to 12 May 2014.

The movie is based on the game "Hitman", and a reboot of an earlier 2007 film starring Timothy Olyphant as the lead character.

This time Brit actor Rupert Friend ("Homeland"/ "Pride and Prejudice") takes up the titular contract killer character of "Agent 47" or "Hitman". The news that many of you are already aware of is that our favourite bb Zachary Quinto is also starring in the film.

Singapore Press Loves "Margin Call"

Boy was I glad when indie financial thriller "Margin Call" made its way to Singapore on the last week of December 2011.

It was screening only at the Cathay Cineplexes and Shaw Theatres rather than at the splashier blockbuster-loving GV cinemas. But it did have a good number of show times and the movie is in fact, still currently screening at Cathay's Cineleisure Orchard.

I guess there are only a few hardcore Zachary Quinto fans around on this island. It seems that no one had put the local press stuff out on the internet yet.
