Casual--Transition--Formal

Like those nifty transition programs for your vids and pics, our fave bb Zachary Quinto makes going from casual to formal seem so effortless.

Oh, there are many detractors concerning Zach's fashion sense but I am mostly amused or in awe of how he consistently manages to pull some combis off with such panache and confidence. Actually, his style closely resembles some Japanese/ Korean men street style... where they tend to be more adventurous, with a hint of the adrogynous.

The Orange Empire and SArmy/ ZArmy Alliance!

A very powerful alliance between the Orange Empire and SArmy/ ZArmy has been brewing for the past many weeks.

If you are not familiar with the Orange Empire, I’m very pleased to offer you a peek into this glowingly magickal place of all things orangey and pumpkiney.

A very special kind of biceps resides in The Orange Empire. The kind that can transform a blank slate into a beautiful piece of artwork. These biceps belong to the effervescent leader of the Empire, Alex Wer… also known as The Pumpkin Geek!!

It's a Bird, it's a Plane... it's .....

...INTERACTIVE QUINTO!

Did the Twitter ZQ Fan-world get saved by a no-longer-internet-cautious super-villain-turned-hero? The epic event was as Sparkly as a ... (ok, I won't mention the V-word @eserei27 ....I promise!). Erm... where was I? Ahh.... yes. As Sparkly as a UNICORN! :D In fact, this rare occurrence caused such a whirl of glittery excitement that it might have even brought out the dastardly Twitter Fail Whale.

Being ahead of time from most of the American-European zones, I was in my nice snuggly Sy-dreamland when this cosmic alignment happened.

Sooooo Bromantic!

Bromances seem to be the in-thing lately.

Although this pervy heart of mine was the most slashy during the days of the "Lord of the Rings" movie trilogy. There was just way too many bromances in those movies to miss! Remember those longing and heartfelt Hobbit to Hobbit glances??

All the familiar symptoms - heart-racing, breath-quickening, synapses-firing and wistful sighs - were revived again when I watched the episode, "(Up Against) The Wall". (NB: Additional words in title courtesy of moi). That episode just about canonized all things Petlar. Peter and Sylar as a pair was simply hot, Hot, and HOT!!

Clothed and Climaxed

When word got around that Zach was in NYC attending some plays on Broadway, as well as doing a reading for a benefit with a theatre company Naked Angels, I immediately urged my fave twitter-buddy @eserei27 to go for the play. She was hesitant at first but decided to travel to NYC from Ohio in the end. I'm definite she has no regrets now! Not only did she meet other tweeps like @darkelegance (Csilla), @OceanBreeze1979 @SkyeD and @jaycee419, she has now joined the many who have been fortunate to meet our handsome SArmy leader, Zachary Quinto!

Here's her awesome report on meeting the man himself:

A Kiss, Pauses and Lots of Blood

Pardon me for not putting up a new blog post for more than a week. I was still recovering from the eww-ness of Sylaire and getting used to emo Sylar.

Probably the only reason I could tolerate either was Zach's sad, disconsolate (but very sexy!) voice, and how he played Sylar as more world-weary (if a serial killer could be weary) than totally-whiny-emo. Thank the stars for that!

Helping Hands So Powerful

... that the fandom responds!

A flurry of activity arose the last couple of days to support various charity drives in bringing much-needed financial support and aid to troubled post-earthquake Haiti.

In typical Heroic fashion that is so expected of them, the cast and crew of "Heroes" lovingly and ardently put their voices out there (in their websites, tweets, Facebook pages, etc) to support their "family member" Jimmy Jean-Louis - who is Haitian - and to publicize the ways in which we can assist Haiti.

Jimmy is very active with charity projects in Haiti, so it was sad when we heard that his fragile homeland has now been destroyed by this disastrous event. In fact, for the first few days, he was still looking for his parents. Fortunately, he has now since heard from them.  (Refer to theODI.com for the CNN news article.)
